What is a Non-gravity Mixer? A Non-gravity
Mixer is a twin-shaft, batch-type mixer with two parallel shafts coupled to
28 arms to which paddles are attached separately. The Geared Motor driven via
a chain drive keeps each of the two shafts counter-rotating at a constant speed.
Paddles convey the mixed material by means of torque to the upper center of
the mixing chamber. This leads to an increase in the effective volume of the
mixing chamber, which allows the material to float momentarily and be mixed
in a gravity-free zone.
○ Outstanding Features
1. Fluidized Zone Mixing The rotation
of paddles coupled to the main shafts in the mixing chamber allows the mixed
material to be fluidized in a moment. This leads to the fast and precise mixing
of the material in a gravity-free state, which is not affected by the material's
particle size, specific gravity, and shape.
2. Homogeneous Mixing The rotary
paddle mechanism allows the random dispersion and conveyance of the material,
independently of the material type. In particular, micro-addition with mixing
is available up to the mass ratio 1:100,000.
3. Gentle Mixing Due to the main
shaft's rotation at a low speed, no bump and shear force are applied to the
material. This leads to the free flow of the material within the mixing chamber,
without any potential for the loss or seperation of the material.
4. Short-time Mixing For powder mixing,
blending is done is less than a minute. Micro-addition, liquid addition, liquid
coating, and oil coating also take just a few seconds. The application of liquid
addition allows for the avoidance of lump formation and adhesion during mixing.
5. Economical Mixing Due to reduced
mixing times, the Non-gravity Mixer achieves higher throughput in tons per hour(Ton/Hour).
It can handle a large volume of materials as well as minimize footprint, costs
of ownership and operating costs.
